Don't walk alone - let us walk beside you!  We can help either the patient, his family or other loved ones here.  All private and not accessible to others.

We have put together a small team of patient experts to help you who are very knowledgeable about our disease and the many ups and downs, happiness and sadness, the care and loving, the successes and failures, of prostate cancer patients.  They stand ready as a Team or as individuals to assist you in whatever way they can.  The Team will be kept small and only added to when we find someone with the experience and we have a need to expand the size.

The individual Team members may be women who have fought this disease with their loved ones, some may have lost the fight and others are still fighting.  We may have men who have fought the fight and have won or are still fighting.  In either case these are very carefully selected individuals who have been helping other for some time and are standing by to walk with you.

The Team, individually or as a whole (determined by you) are patient experts on the disease itself and can answer questions on treatments, etc.  However even more than this they stand ready to help you on anything from early diagnosis, to intimate questions that effect your life, to help one have a better sexual experience when the man has lost his "manhood" because of treatments, to the care of a prostate cancer patient, to the use of vitamins or supplements for our disease.

These are private conversations by email and they are not ever posted to the public.  You control who you want to correspond with and this can be an individual or as many of the Team as you wish.  No one else except those that you choose to write to will see your email.  This is much different than Forums or mailing lists where the members can see your questions and answers and sometimes even the world of the Internet has access to these.

We do not give medical advise.  We certainly can give you suggestions on things that you may want to discuss with your medical professionals.  We may even recommend drugs that you will want to discuss with your medical professional.  You may be given valuable information to discuss with the patient or as a patient with your loved ones.  Suggestions on things that one can do to make fighting this disease easier and more comprehensive.  Nothing is off limits in your private discussions.

To give you some idea as to who you can talk to here is a listing of the Team and their experience.  You can use this to direct your questions to certain team members if you so desire.

TEAM MEMBERS

Don Cooley, owner of this site.  Diagnosed in 1997 and presently apparently cured after receiving conventional treatment.  Don is straight talking, no holes barred in his advise for this disease.  For additional information on Don click "here".

Judy lost her husband to this disease after a long battle.  She did a lot of research for treatments for him and has continued that research since his death.  She is now one of the most knowledgeable people that I (don Cooley) know about this disease.  She has the knowledge and as a women has the ability to see this as a family disease rather than just a disease of the man.

Now that you have an understanding of what we do and who you can talk to, please fill out the form and click on Submit.  The Forum will be sent to all Team members but only those that you designate will reply.  When they reply they will give you their email address they want you to reply to.

These are real people and real names and real email addresses.  We ask simply that you keep the names and email addresses confidential.  The email addresses themselves may be special addresses used only for the purpose of helping you and may not be available to others.
