Chemotherapy
 

We will visit Chemotherapy in this section and give you information on what is chemotherapy, its side effects and how it is used for cancer.  When one thinks of CANCER. three things come to mind - Surgery, radiation and chemotherapy.  It is how these are given and in what combination which is important.  In almost all cancers Chemotherapy is often the first treatment employed.  This is not true today in prostate cancer - it is usually the last unfortunately.

Read the Research of Bill Aishman .  Although it was written a few years ago, much of it still applies today.  Bill was a very intelligent man who had very advanced cancer at diagnosis and he began to study his disease and its treatments.  As he studied he knew more about Chemotherapy than most doctors, he knew enough to dictate his own treatment (along with his doctors of course).  He went to the very best Medical Oncologist available and discussed with several his path.  He is probably the most successful person who took the treatment where he wanted it to go.  And he was willing to write about it to help others and willing to go "Out of The Box" to find different combinations - a study of one.
